This competition was hosted by the Institute for Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), and encouraged apprentices to build a product focused on 'home automation'. The judges were very impressed with Smart Stick version 2, along with the detailed report also provided (see below). The Step Smart team won every category, taking home multiple trophies.
